Marilyn Hutton

Obituary of Marilyn Kathleen Hutton

HUTTON, Marilyn Kathleen (Egelton/Quinney)

Died peacefully on Friday, December 8, 2017, at University Hospital, London, Ontario, in her 89th year.  Daughter of the late Aylmer E. and the late Alice Mary (Horton) Quinney.  Beloved wife of the late Duncan (Fred) Hutton (1999).  Survived by twin daughters Kathryn McConnell (Ronald) and Barbara Egelton, all of London.  Cherished grandma of Kristy Thompson (Jamie), Michael McConnell (Judy), Nicholas McConnell (2003) and Bradley Egelton.  Truly blessed and proud to have become a great-grandma to Lily and Nolan McConnell.  Loving only sister to Doris MacArthur (2015) (Bob) of London, brothers-in-law David (2017) (Peg) Hutton, late Dr. William (late Evelyn) Hutton, late James Hutton, and sisters-in-law late Mina (late Hugh) Kersey, late Mary (late Jack) Keith, and late Rona (late Wally) Bisbee.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.  Always remembered by her very special friends Jack and Norma Aitken of London, Ontario, and their 3 children and families.  Marilyn was no stranger to a life of always working hard to provide the very best for her two girls, who she adored to the moon and back.  Her city life from London to a farm life in Forest started in 1965 when she married Fred.  She worked at the Royal Trust Bank in Forest for many years, made many friends while at her job, until her retirement.  Even with her busy life working, plus helping out on the farm, both her and Fred made time to enjoy their 4 grandchildren and take them on a few holidays.  Trips to Florida and Arizona were enjoyed as well, when snow was on the ground and Fred wasn’t busy with his farming.  She truly seemed to enjoy her ‘farm life’ until Fred passed away, at which time she would move to London to become closer to her girls and their families.  At Marilyn’s request, there will be no visitation, and flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, please consider the charity of your choice.  Cremation has taken place.  There will be a private family celebration of life at a later date with interment at Beechwood Cemetery, Forest, Ontario.  Funeral arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF FOREST (519) 786-2401  Online condolences may be left at www.denning.ca
