On January 21, 2022, Goldie Adrienne Henry passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health with her family by her side at the age of 82. Goldie was welcomed with open arms into heaven by her mother (Annie), son (Harvey), daughter (Denise), granddaughter (Patty) pastor (Mrs. Barber), as well as siblings and other family members. She will be deeply missed by her sons Steven (Renee), and Michael, as well as her grandchildren Madisen (Taylor), Brittany (Ryan), and Nicholas. And her great-grandchildren Jada-Lynn and Teagan. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, and those she has touched within the church community. Goldie was very involved within the church, and spent her time educating others about Jesus and the Bible. She impacted many lives and lived her life as God would have intended. Goldie had a passion for music. She played the piano and was a vocalist, entertaining at various events with her band. She performed pistol packing mama at her first concert at the age of five, and received a standing ovation! Throughout her singing career Goldie got the opportunity to play with the famous Jerry Lee Lewis. She was a strong advocator within her community and advocated for those that were not strong enough to do it themselves. If they could not do it, you best bet Goldie could! She loved her family fiercely, and always looked forward to family meals. Spending time with her sons and grandchildren, and of course, enjoying a good meal cooked with love. Goldie was always up for a picnic under the bridge with her son, or a phone call from her family members. She was selfless and would give anything to help those in need. She was loved by many and will be very missed by those who were close to her.  Memorial donations can be made to the church that Goldie attended called The Gathering Place Christian Fellowship.   Private Services.    Online condolences may be left at www.forestfuneralhome.com    Funeral arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF FOREST
