I am so saddened by the news, as I have lost a dear friend. Marianne and I have known each other for over 40 years and this poem expresses it best:

Im so sorry for your loss of such a sweet lady..she was a co-worker at Walmart ,,,Marianne was such a giving person to anything that breathed on this earth..human or animal..she will be greatly missed..you gained your angel wings now soar as high as possible
I was heartbroken to hear of Marianne's passing after only meeting her briefly. She was such a kind woman, we took over care of her chickens that she adored and we think of her every time we see Harriet and Hazel outside. I'm so sorry to the family and closer friends who lost this wonderful lady. xxoo
So sorry to hear of the passing of Marianne. We met her at the dog park in Wallaceburg and had many interesting conversations her. Beautiful lady with a definite passion for animals who was so kind to our dog Buddy.
Marianne was a very intelligent and caring person. She was a very supportive friend and family member. Life threw her many curves but she handled them with grit and determination while frequently in poor health. Her love of animals was her defining characteristic. Marianne the animal whisperer, we'll miss you dearly.
