Obituary of George William Riczu

Peacefully, after a long and courageous fight with cancer, Bill slipped away from the ones who loved him and who were by his side at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Monday, September 22^nd, 2025, George William Rizcu of Port Franks and formerly of Strathroy at the age 63. 

Survived by his loving partner and best friend of Barb Willsie and her children Gregory (Casandra) Willsie, Wes (Terah) Willsie, Jeff (Veronica) and Tim (K-La) and their children; Jade, Nadia, Brooke, Jaidyn, Malcolm, Alex, Andrew, Bella, Aidyn, Eryn-Lynn, Allen and Anthony. 

Also survived by siblings; Joe (Barb), Stephen, Teresa (Chip), Mary (late Al) and Sue (Terry).  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Brother-in-law of Jim (Brenda), Doug (Mary Ann), Roger (Barb), late Marg (Tony).

Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Joseph Riczu also, Barb’s parents; Carman and Marion Miller.

Bill was a talented carpenter who loved to be of service to his community.  He left a mark on this world and will never be forgotten.
