Siegfried Pawelzick

Obituary of Siegfried Johann Pawelzick

Siegfried Johann Pawelzick passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, at the age of 83. Known by his family and loved ones as “Ziggy.” He was a devoted husband to Karen, a loving father to Nicole (Devin), Eric (Jasmine), and Tanya, affectionately known as “The Bee.”  He was predeceased by his brother, Karl Gunther George.  His love for his companion Gino, the family dog was profound and unwavering.

Ziggy was a man whose presence could fill any room, not just with sound or laughter, but with warmth, connection, and life. He had a gift – a kind of charisma that made people feel seen and welcome. He had a magnetic personality that drew people in and made them feel at home. He was a man of many gifts—humorous, charming, and charismatic.

Music was one of his greatest joys. From German, classical, to rock-n-roll, he appreciated it all. He loved music, and it was more than just something he listened to, it was a part of who he was.

He had a spirit of adventure – always ready for a new place to discover, or a new experience to enjoy, whether travelling around, or just sitting at a table with family or friends.

He loved his family deeply. He was proud of his children. He cared, he showed up, and he made sure his family knew how important they were to him.

The family would like to give their heartfelt gratitude to extended family and the Forest community for their kindness and support during this difficult time.

Ziggy’s legacy of love, laughter, and connection will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

As per Ziggy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family interment will take place at Beechwood Cemetery on Thursday, October 30, 2025.
