Obituary of Victoria Henry

Henry, Victoria

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Victoria Henry on Tuesday, October 27, 2025, at the age of 74.

Beloved wife of the late Reymond Henry. Loving Grandmother of Thomas Shipman Jr, Charity Shipman, Jonathan John, Joshua Wolfe, Nehemiah Gray, David Gray, and the late Diana Gray. Cherished Great Grandmother of Jayla, Shyra, Xavier, Abel, Legacy, Everly, Kiya, Kaylyn, Marissa, Ndaanis, Kaleisha, Jonathan Jr., Alize, Karter, Mathias, Leon, Ryot, Locus, Theo, Knight, Mave, and Greyson. the late Samara, Vada, Oran, and Ryan.

Dear sister of Geraldine, Marlene, and Adge. Predeceased by her parents Clara Bell and Duncan, and siblings Maureen, Edna, Leonard, and Joe.

She will be lovingly remembered by her extended family, friends, and all those whose lives were touched by knowing her.

Victoria was known for her talent in beading and leatherwork—especially her moccasins. She generously shared her craft and spent her spare time creating beautiful pieces. A strong believer in God, she read the Bible daily, listened to gospel music, and loved attending camp meetings. In her early years, she helped her sisters care for their children while they worked. She also loved baking cakes, tarts, and cookies for her family, and especially enjoyed preparing turkey on special occasions.

Visitation will be held at Faith Builders Church, Kettle Point, on Friday, October 31, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Kettle Point Cemetery.

Food donations for a light lunch will be accepted at Faith Builders Church starting at 10:00am
