Obituary of George Wesley Davis

With broken hearts the family of George Davis announce his passing on November 29th, 2025 at the age of 88.  He was predeceased by his wife Marilyn and will be lovingly remembered and missed by his children Karen (Brad) and Warren.  He was the proud Grampa of Brodie, Sierra, Aubrey, and Wyatt.  Also predeceased by parents John and Eleanor, sisters Elizabeth (Fred), Margaret and Norma, and brothers James and William. He leaves behind brothers and sisters John (late Doreen), Catherine (late Mervyn), Dorothy (Don), Irene, Arthur (Grace), and Evelyn (Phil).

George was a quiet, content, and dependable man who loved farming, camping at country jamborees, and dancing the two-step with Marilyn on Saturday nights.  He could also be found reading the newspaper (or napping) in his recliner chair.  Over the years, he never gave up an opportunity to babysit any of his 4 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 8th at the Warwick Community Centre from 3:00pm to 8:00pm
