Obituary of Norma Jeannette Chivers

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norma Chivers, who passed peacefully at North Lambton Lodge in Forest, Ontario, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the age of 93.

Norma was the beloved wife of the late Donald Chivers (1997) and a loving mother to her daughter, Jeannette McLean. She will be fondly remembered by her grandson Bradley McLean (Stephanie), and her cherished great-grandchildren Eloise and Alisdair McLean. Norma is also survived by her dear sister Lois Falloon and will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Norma leaves behind a wonderful legacy of laughter and love, which will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on January 14 at 11:30 a.m. at Denning’s of Forest, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Beechwood Cemetery, with fellowship to follow at Forest United Church.

In memory of Norma, donations to The North Lambton Lodge Auxiliary would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
