We had the absolute privilege of meeting Betty and Paddy Hanna in June 2000. We adored them before we met them and remain forever indebted to them for the love and support they gave to 'our family' in Canada. But giving is natural to the Hanna family as a whole and they give unconditionally. To know them is to love them, the love & devotion that Paddy and Betty shared was beyond the description of any words. We are all so very sad to hear of Betty's passing, she touched our lives with such grace, great humour, optimism and a genuine heartfelt love. We see her smile in our minds eye and hear her voice telling us that we 'gotta have a laugh a day'. Paddy, we are sending you our love in heaps and hope that you find strength in the love that surrounds you. Kevin, the brother we never had, we love you more than you know. Our thoughts are with all the Hanna family. ..........PS- You may have gone from this world Betty Hanna but you will never ever leave our hearts. Oh and by the way Betty - we have phoned God and told him to tell John Wright to pour you a wee 'hauf' and get the party started!
