Condolences to the family from Gloria and Elgin Austen. Although having moved from the Bothwell area to London in 1959, I have good childhood memories involving Jean and Emerson. My parents (Freeman and Mary) often visited with them as well as Andy and Maude. I fondly recall many childhood visits and long discussions of the adults with Jack and Alta at the Marcus Grove Restaurant - fixing the social and political problems of the day.
