We have so many times shared at family gatherings whether it be Christmas, family camping or family visits....I will always remember Christopher’s sense of humour...always quick with a hug and a joke or two to keep us laughing. Nick recalls times spent together with family gatherings when they were younger and how Chris loved to “take On” all the younger cousins with some fun wrestling matches in the wreck room...Chris always won of course because he was definitely the strongest! I pray for Peace for you now Christopher! I pray for strength and love for all of your family and loved ones! I pray we can all carry those special, funny, loving memories of you in all of our hearts with love...For Ever and For Always Christopher! luv, Aunt Deb

As our daughter, Michaela said, "she has many memories of Christopher that all involve fun and laughter." A couple that come to mind-when Chris came to stay in Thunder Bay for a week and we were heading to the family camp and he had us belting out a George Thorogood song in the truck. Visiting Chris and he asks if we feel like some cookies so he whips up a batch of the best double decadent chocolate chip cookies ever. Chris had such a fun and mischievous spirit and many times he would say to me come on Aunt Sharon let's do that just for "shits and giggles!" It is now one of my favourite phrases. One of his gifts was his beautiful smile and ability to listen to people and take a genuine interest in their story. Our sincere condolences to his family, Kraemer, Sharon, Michaela and Liam. XOXOXO

We are deeply saddened by Christopher’s passing and send virtual hugs to all the McEvoy family. Memories of your family vacation in California...on the first day Chris had purchased a Cali shirt at Target and we were cooking pizza for lunch all before 8 am. The boy loved to eat and was a pretty good cook too! Camping at Dankert Lake, boating on Georgian Bay, wagon rides on the farm and the many family gathering are memories we cherish. Loved his orange and green painted toes at his wedding! It was always a fun and entertaining time with Chris. We will miss his jokes, smiling face and generous kind heart. Rest In Peace dear nephew and cousin. Love Uncle Gary and Aunt Janice, Nicole and Ashley ox

I was thinking about Chris today and this memory came to me. When we were living in Leamington Chris had been working with Uncle Rick on a job in our area and popped in for a visit. It was a Friday night and we were about to leave for youth group. Of course, it did not take much convincing to get Chris to join us. That night turned out to be a game night which was perfect! I loved to watch all the crazy activities, but not that night! Chris volunteered us and now I was an active participant!! Next thing I know we are in front of a group of 80+ kids with 10 others and Chris’s face was COVERED in whip cream! It was a race to see how many Cheetos you could get to stick on your partners face by throwing them on from a distance. We did not win the activity but Chris sure won the night and he declared that Cheetos and whip cream made a good match, haha. Chris was always up for anything :)
Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers,
Kayla <3
