With many fond memories of “Mrs. Clemens” we send our sympathy. Sharon taught four of our five children in Kindergarten at Kinnaird School. She was a lovely person; a wonderful teacher and a Godly woman. I know she will be greatly missed. Debbie and Mark Burr and family.

We were sorry to hear of Sharon's death. I have fond memories of being at the farm when staying at Marj and Mac's in the summer. In later years we sometimes saw George and Sharon at the beach near Carol and Dale's cottage enjoying a sunset. They were both lovely people. Our condolences to the family.

Remembering Sharon with warmth. When we returned from Nepal with our two little boys, Sharon visited us even before the school started as she was going to be Matti's kindergarten teacher and later she also taught Peter at Kinnaird. We became friends and prayer partners lifting the school staff, the children and their families up to the heart of God.
Sharon was always available, a great listener with a gentle spirit, always encouraging and lifting up others. Now she is at home, in her Heavenly Home with Jesus.
Our prayers are with the family as you grieve the loss of Sharon.
with love and prayers, Maija

I learned today of the passing of Sharon, a classmate in the Class of 1955 at Mountsfield PS in London, ON. Sharon and her husband, the late George, had attended a reunion of our class in London in 2011. I shall inform those class members with whom I am still in contact of Sharon’s passing and I know that they would like me to extend condolences on their behalf. Sharon and I shared a devotion to our Christian faith which provides great comfort in these times of loss. I extend my own sympathy to you, her family, at this time.

Dear family, and friends
I have been hesitant to call, as I am certain you must be exhausted. With love, you have held your vigil with Sharon over many days and even months. Sharon was a dear friend whom I have for sixty-seven years (since we were in grade nine together). I also knew her sisters; please give them my condolences as well. Sharon and I resonated with the glue of our Christian faith holding us together. We had a wonderful trip to Israel. I made a great effort to visit with Sharon each summer and through email fairly often.
I am grieving along with you, though certainly not to the intensity you must be feeling. I believe that you should be comforted by the Scriptural assurance that Sharon is in a far, far better place, free of weakness, pain and struggle. She had a strong faith, was very special, and will be greatly missed.
Please consider me as a strong caring supporter on whom you can lean. Let me know if there is anything I can do to reduce your stress at this most difficult time. I will do whatever I can to lighten your load. I have watched the live streaming of her service today. It was a wonderful tribute for Sharon and a life well-lived.
Please know of my deepest condolences at this sad time. Sharon will be greatly missed by many, by your family, the grandchildren, church members, and by me as I deeply valued our friendship. She was a precious friend and I will miss her. I am so glad she is now not suffering and is present with our Lord.
With Friendship and with Love,
Suzanne Wilkinson (from Toronto)

To Pam, Allen, Wayne's family, Steve and Christine and your families, I am so sorry for your loss. Sharon was my most favourite teacher of all time (Grade 4) at Ravenswood. It was Sharon's first year teaching. She was a very kind and caring, compassionate teacher. Years later, the community was so fortunate to have Sharon join George to make a very special couple in the community. May your family have many happy memories live on as life's journey continues. Hugs to all.

Our family fondly remembers Sharon as we met her (and some of the family/relatives) in different forums. The place where we met most was at Kinnaird School in Lambton Shores. Sharon taught both our sons Peter and Matti in KG, and another early grade (?) They both fondly remember her kind nature. My wife Maija and Sharon used to pray for the school and children studying there.
Sharon was a kind and godly woman and we are richer for her interaction in our lives. Our condolences to her extended family.

To all of the members of Sharon's extended family , we extend our sincere condolences. We have enjoyed knowing and loving Sharon for the sweet person that she was . As Matthew's parents we shared her delight in Matt and Christine's marriage and our shared grandchildren.
She loved all of her family and spoke fondly of them when we met.
She was a follower of Jesus, a student and teacher of the scriptures, and a friend to many in her community and beyond. She led by example , and her children have been blessed to have her as a mother throughout her life. May her legacy of love for the Lord, and kindness to others be continued in the succeeding generations and through all those who loved her.

It was always a pleasure to spend time with Sharon and George. She had such a sweet smile and gentle demeanour. Not sure it always translated into her mothering but I’m sure it did. Another great lady looking after us from above.
Rest in peace Sharon.
