Passed away at Bluewater Health Services in Sarnia on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the age of 49 years. Beloved son of Betty and Allan Reid. Loving brother of Halle and Brent, of Airdrie, Alberta. Also survived by his Auntie Lynne, Auntie Ann (Ed), Aunt Jen (Rick), his Uncle Keith (Gwen), and his several cousins. Private Services. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Bluewater Health Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family.
Aaron started his life's journey in Milton, moved to Rockwood, then to Forest. His school years were spent at Forest Central, Woodside Public, NLSS, Conestoga College in Guelph (welding engineering) and Lambton College (Tool & Die Making). Aaron liked to have his own spending money so he found after school jobs - Cana China, Forest Golf Course and the Yoke where Nick taught him food prep and service skills. Full time employment started at Watford Roof Truss, Westcast Industries of Strathroy, Bradken Industries of London and AAPlus RTD Canada in Burlington where he found his niche as a NDT Inspector. His leisure time was limited - living and working in Burlington and weekends in Forest so PVR TV programming was important to him - cooking shows, the discovery channel, and car restorations. He was a die hard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Islanders, and the Blue Jays. Aaron was a very private person so if you were a friend of his, you knew he was a friend for life. Family gatherings were a priority, too. In March 2020, Aaron received grim news of his cancer diagnosis as the world dealt with the COVID pandemic. He fought the fight but lost the battle and Aaron's life journey ended at Bluewater Health on September 10, 2021.
