Peacefully, Arie (Harry) Brouwer went home to the Lord on November 25, 2021, in his 98th year. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years Marguerite Brouwer. Lovingly remembered by son Eric (Tilda) Brouwer and daughter Brenda Soepboer (Harold). The Lord blessed him with grandchildren Victoria, Andrea (Stephen), Terry (Jessica), Scott (Ashley), Matthew (Kaylee), Greg (Kristin), Bradley and Jessica (Edward). Also blessed with 9+ great-grandchildren Carter, Madison, Emily, Rory, Darcy, Bennett, Braxton, Finn and Maeve.
Predeceased by his loving parents, four brothers, one sister. Survived by one brother.
Born in Kockengen, Holland August 18, 1924. Arie grew up in a large family with his twin brother Anton. Arie immigrated to Canada at the age of 29, settling in Forest, Ontario. At a church youth group in Forest he met his future wife Marguerite Schenk and they were married March 16, 1956. He was a long-time member of the Wyoming Christian Reformed Church. Working numerous jobs, he settled onto his own farm in the mid-1960s, continuing to expand into cash crop and chicken farming. Arie was passionate about gardening, spending time with his grandchildren at the campground and had a love for dogs.
