FORD, Grace May

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Tuesday, January 11, 2022.   Predeceased by her parents John and Winnifred, and her husband Allen.  Loving mother of John (Dee-Ann), Donna, and David (Tara).  Grandmother of Jasmine, Thomas (Madisson), Daniel, Elijah, Kian, Emmett.  Great-grandmother to RoseAnne, Elizabeth, and Alastor.

Grace was a kind and generous soul, who always put others before herself.  The door was always open at the country home she kept.  Family gatherings, Sunday dinners and time spent with her grandchildren were all precious things.  Grace enjoyed travelling with her friend’s band and hearing her son John play the piano.  She was proud of her southern roots and loved visiting relatives abroad.  A soft hearted but strong-willed lady that appreciated her independence until her last few days.  We wish her well on her journey and know she is in the loving hands of God and family.

Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Sunday, January 16, 2022, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm  6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.   A Funeral Service will take place at Elim Bible Chapel in Arkona on Monday afternoon, January 17, 2022, at 1:00 pm.   Please register to attend visitation and service by visiting https://signup.com/go/FxUbOLM    Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.  For those who wish, memorial donations to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.    Online condolences may be left at www.forestfuneralhome.com
