I believe Bob was president of the Bright’s Grove Optimist club the year I joined the club. I always enjoyed chatting and working with Bob. He had a great sense of humour. I also enjoyed curling with and against him from time to time. My condolences to his family.

Bob was always quick with a smile and humor, a truly lovely man. The world is better for him having lived in it and he will be missed.
I'll always think of him with with us on St. Patrick's Day and back at the pond sharing some beer.

Bob was a Charter member of the Bright's Grove Optimist Club. I first met Bob back in the 70's when he was a member of the Moore Optimist Club. I have many fond memories of working along with Bob; in particular, upgrading the building at Lamrecton in the 90's. Bob could often be found at our Bright's Grove Canada Day event helping out wherever needed. I also remember curling with him (and sometimes against him) in several bonspiels. He was always the true gentleman.

Susan, Sandra and Family. So sorry to hear of Bob’s passing, he was a great man. We will always remember him as a great Optimist and curler. The stick was a winner, it was a challenge curing against him at tournaments. We have so many fond memories of him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time in your lives.

Linda and Families:
We were so sad to receive the news of Bob's passing. We enjoyed seeing him outside, and admired the pride he took, looking after the yard and his gardens. We always has a chuckle, when we would lose site of Willow, and then find her over next door, saying hello and seeing what Bob was up to.
Sending hugs and our caring thoughts,
Paul & Tracey

Mike & Family, so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I remember when he came to Shelley Machine when Mike was being integrated into the R.S. Air business and Bob came to introduce Mike to us as a contact. Bob was a good man and a gentleman. I'm sure he will be missed by many. Sorry to see him go.
