To the Dolmage family
So sorry to read of Barbs passing. I remember her and Debbie and Linda coming to our house for fittings for the dresses my mom made for them. My mom loved barb and we still have a flower paper weight that barb gave to my mom. The whole “gang” are gone now, so I’m sure they’re all up in heaven reminiscing. Love and prayers during this difficult time.

I am sorry to hear of Barbs passing. She was my grandma Marg’s next door neighbour at the lodge for quite a few years. I will always remember her infectious smile and funky hats she use to sport around at the lodge. May she Rest In Peace.

The Dolmage family were friends of my youth. Remembering the welcoming family home with lots of kids and friends. Barb directing traffic, providing snacks and dry towels. Bob pouring homemade wine and friendship. Later Jim. Then Adam was gone; now the matriarch. Times change people change but sweet memories remain. And it is what it is and should not be any other way. Barb and Jim were great neighbours at Ipperwash and we miss visiting with them. When they told us about their fascinating trip to China, especially about seeing the Terracotta Warriors, we were intrigued and very happy to travel there ourselves many years later. Barb was always very friendly and interested in our lives. I can still hear her laugh. I am lucky to have known her. Ann and Ken Steer
