As a young boy from the city, I was blessed to spend time every summer on the Moffatt farm.
Lyle took me under his wing every summer and let me try to do chores, drive the tractor and go to town with him.
His smile just made me feel good. When I did something wrong, he gently corrected me and encouraged me to try again.
I can't put into words how important Lyle was in my life.
May God have mercy upon his soul and may he have joy and gladness in the kingdom of heaven.
