I just learned of the news of Ruby's passing today. Sending my sincerest condolences to the entire family. It has been an honour to have known Ruby and to have had so many great visits with her. Attended Aunt Ruby's Celebration of life today at the Forest Legion. Spent a wonderful afternoon getting re-acquainted with cousins that we have not seen in decades. It was truly wonderful. Enjoyed looking at the pictures of Ruby through the years... from her young sassy self to being a mother and aunt...and looking so dignified later in life.
I remember visiting our grand parents (the McIntyre's) home, and playing in the back yard with cousins.
As older children, we remember so vividly our aunts visiting our mother around the kitchen table and it was non-stop laughter as the sisters visited and got caught up in the stories of the day!
Always had warm thoughts of Aunt Ruby. Sincere condolences to her family... my cousins and their children and their grand children.

We were so fortunate when Ruby came in to Speedy's life. She immediately became such a good friend and sister-in-law. We had so much fun, sharing lots of laughs. She was such a strong woman.
