I know your spirit will live on in the north at the Shepherd Lake Camp Gary, where years of good time's, beverages, laughter and Moose hunting took place. Many tall tales were shared by you and all your hunt camp friends. You will be truly missed.

Dear Dorothy, I’m sorry I just now heard of the death of Gary. Paul died in June so I haven’t been out to hear things. I know you will miss Gary. But will have great mrmories. I used to hear all the stories of the cousins,Jack, Gary and Paul. My sympathy to all Gary’s family

I am deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Gary . I have so many fond memories of "Gare The Bear", he was an intimidating man that would tower over you and had a barking voice when he spoke, it would scare the life out of you. But, that was just Gary trying to get your attention and it worked lol. Deep down inside he was a teddy bear with a heart of gold that would give you the shirt off his back.
I will never forget all the weekends he welcome me into your home after moving to Sarnia, so I could spend time with Mike and friends. And after all the antics that two teenagers can get themselves into, he would still welcome me back, no questions asked, the door was always open. You have no idea how much this meant to me and I will never forget it.
I regret that I could not make the trip to be there to pay my respects to amazing father, grandfather, husband and friend. Our deepest condolence to the whole family,

Dorothy, Sue, Kim, Mike and families. We are so sorry for your loss. I know Friday mornings will no longer be the same, listening to Gary’s stories (even if I heard the same ones every week) and every week there was a new twist to the same story. Family was everything to Gary his love for Dorothy and devotion to his family was alway first priority. One of my fondest memories was when Gary would count down how many more sleeps before he and Mike would head to the hunt camp. Although it is sad to see him go you have so many cherished memories.
