Sending deepest sympathies to the Sutton families. Ella was a beautiful lady who always had a kind word and warm smile! She loved her flowers and gardening and her yard was so groomed. A hard working lady who loved life! She will have many gardens to enjoy in heaven

My sincere condolences to Ella's family. I always looked forward to seeing her every Sunday at St. James while I was growing up. She always decorated the church so beautifully for Christmas! She was so excited about our December wedding, and she made it extra special with all the time and energy she put into making the church decorations just right. She was a very special lady.

Our deepest condolences to Ella's family. We have many memories of Ella and Emery, both of whom were wonderful neighbours on Douglas Line. They welcomed us into their home, both on the farm and in town and of course you had to stay until "lunch" was served. She was a great hostess. We still picture her on the lawn mower, nobody cut more grass than Ella did and her gardens were lovely. When we were first married, I kept hearing this odd noise every day and I finally asked Murray about it. Oh that's Ella going to town....she practically flew out the lane and over the old bridge.
Ella was always proud to tell you about her children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. You will all miss her very much.

Shirley, Sharon, Sandy and Howard and family,
Our condolences on the passing of your wonderful mother.
We have many fond memories of her and Emmery. We are so blessed they allowed us to buy their farm.
Everything was so well maintained and built with dedication and love. Ella with her endless energy, and Emmery with his soft and quiet character. They were always ready to give advice, and we developed a great friendship with both of them.
In our first winter here, while a snowstorm in the forecast caused the school buses to be cancelled, she called me early in the morning. The sky was still blue, and I was considering bringing the kids to school. She warned me not to do so because we wouldn't be able to get them back home in the afternoon. Was she ever right! That afternoon was our first experience with the Ontario winter. The fact she thought about us, knowing we, in our inexperienced mindset, could make this mistake, always stayed with us. She could place herself in other people's situations and would take action if needed.
Nature was their great love, and of course, we were invited to the Warwick "Sutton park." Later while Emmery was sick, we would take them for rides to the bush, stroll around the teepees and talk about whatever would come up.
Thank you both for sharing your life and time with us.

Sending our deepest condolences to all of Ella's family. Ella and Emery were truly the best neighbours you could ask for! Her gardens were such an inspiration, and she was always happy to share any tips with us. Some of our fondest memories were when the 4 of us (along with our little dog, Heidi) would take a leisurely drive out to "Sutton Park" in Warwick Village. We would share stories and enjoy the beautiful flowers and trees along with a delicious picnic lunch, that Ella always insisted on making herself. She was one of the most giving people I've ever known, and when she talked about her family, you could feel the love and pride she had for you all.

It is of great sadness to hear of the passing of Ella.
I had just three weeks ago asked Maureen how Ella was doing. I always tried to stop and say "Hi" when traveling back to Ontario.
I always admired Ella for all of her energy.
Things like always running (to and from the barn).

To the family of Ella Sutton:
We are sorry to learn of the passing of Ella, a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother. I know she was proud of all of her family. Ella was always smiling and had a friendly hello wherever you met her. I believe she always looked after the decorations at the Presbyterian church and her outdoor decorations were always lovely. Doug used to work for Emery in his younger days and he remembers always having a good meal there! Always pie for dessert!!! Our sincere condolences at this sad time.

Our condolences to the Sutton/Kelly families. She was an inspiration to all with her beautiful flower gardens. Our daughter fondly remembers Ella as her bus driver. Always had a smile - but could keep full control of her bus load of children. Ella always looked like a million dollars and she was 'one in a million.' "Rest in Peace, sweet lady."

I remember Ella well, she was my bus driver for many many years. I remember the time my older brothers told me to lick the frost off the stop sign post at the bus stop and my tongue got stuck - I'll never forget Ella giving my brothers heck for that! She was always laughing or smiling up at us from the front of the bus. I always admired their beautiful farm and how she took such great care of the lawn and gardens. My condolences to the family.

Shirley, Sharon, Sam & Howard,
I have fond, long-ago memories of your mother’s hospitality on the farm when she would have our family out for an evening - always with great snacks! Then more recently, I enjoyed seeing your mother when Sharon would have her come to the cottage when we were there for a visit. My condolences to you and your families.
