It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Bill Harrower and the tough battle he fought in his final years. I offer Midge and Bill’s family my sincere condolences. Bill, or "Willie” as he was affectionally known as to his coworkers with the Town of Forest and later Lambton Shores Public Works Department, was one of those guys you just never forget. He had a wonderful sense of humour, never took himself too seriously and was one of the kindest men I know. He served his community for many years as the projectionist at the Kineto Theatre, long before it’s restoration and was noted for his annual Christmas light displays at his James St. home. I’m sure flights into Sarnia Airport used his light display as a guidance beacon!! He was a great guy and it was an honour to work with him and call him a friend. He will truly be missed.
