Melinda, Dennis, Carol, Dalton, Brooke and Zav,
We are all so sorry for your loss, AJ will be missed so very much. I remember the day he came to live on Prince St., new son to Den and Melinda. He always had a smile, sometimes that smile made you wonder what he was up to! Mom laughed thinking of a day when AJ was on the roof of the house, hiding from Dennis who was inside looking for him. Mom ran out the door shreaking, only to be told "Shhhhhh Helen, Dad is after me". He had the ability to make you laugh when you least expected it! When Mom and Dad were selling their house, Dennis interrupted a would be sale, wanting the house next door to be a place where AJ and Carol and their growing family would call home. So visiting AJ, Carol and crew felt like coming home over the years.
You are all next door neighbors who quickly became friends and over time more like family. And AJ will be missed like family. He is in heaven making someone new laugh, of that we are sure.

We were devastated to hear of AJ’s passing. We will miss the long conversations centred around the love he had for his family. Family was everything to A.J. - the centre of his universe. So very proud of his children - so very proud of you Carol.

AJ and I first met when we were 12 years old. Our families go way back and we shared in many family events together. AJ was a unique individual with a heart of gold, a great sense of humour and always had a sparkle in his eyes. You never knew what he was going to say or do next. He was either making me laugh or shaking my head with an exasperated sigh saying "Oh AJ", but either way he always made me smile. During the last 4 years we started an Annual long weekend summer camp out in his back yard that reconnected the Rounding Pearson families like our childhood days. New Friendships were made between the camp out group and AJs family, a third generation of Pearson-Rounding friendship began, and all involved enjoyed AJs antics, jokes and his and Carols hospitality. AJ you will be missed! Our thoughts and prayers go out to Carol and the kids, Dennis and Melinda. My heart aches for the loss of a friend and each one of you.
