My sincerest sympathy to Kirste, William and Tyler. My son Patrick loved to ride bikes and play golf with Tyler and Willie. Sometimes they would stop by our house, looking for Patrick. They had wonderful times together. I did not know Jim personally other than a cordial greeting on the street, but Patrick would always tell me how much fun he was. I know Jim was a kind and good father because his boys always wanted to check in on their Dad.
When we were younger , My father would take my bro and I fishing in KP a few times a week. So before we got to the doc , my dad would always make sure to stop at the corner gas station for my bro and I, as we would gather our drinks and snacks for the day. Best part of it all was my dad would give money to myself or my brother and have us pay for everything because we didn’t have to pay taxes. We never new the reason why but we figured it out years later Lmao.
My sincere condolences to Jim's children Kriste, Tyler and William and his siblings Lisa and Gary. I always admired Jimmy and sometimes I even envied him. He always seemed to have a care free, don't sweat the big stuff, attitude towards life, that accompanied his seemingly never ending smile! I often wished I could emulate him in my life when the @##% hit the fan! As life so often dictates we were never close as adults, only meeting at the occasional funeral or wedding. But no matter how long it had been, he would make seeing him again like it only been yesterday. I hope where ever you go Cuz that there's good fishing for you and lots of nice folks to smile back at you.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Jim.I played alot hockey with Jim and are families were very close.Jim always was full of energy and had a million dollar smile he always reminded me alot of his dad Butch who was a really good guy.My sincerest condolences to all his family Wayne Forbes
So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. My brother Ean remembers working for Butch at the old Red and White and Jim was his boss as produce manager. That was quite a while ago. I recall my high school years with Jim and our 35th reunion. Blessings to the family from Ean and Eva Sippel
We were sorry to hear that Jim has passed away. We lived next door for a few years on Frances Drive and Jim was a good neighbour and always very friendly. Our condolences to his children and siblings. Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
So many memories. The laughs, the teasing, that smile that always made you wonder what he was thinking? Or even better, what he might be getting up to? He will be missed. Our hearts hurt for the families... our deepest sympathy.
He was a life long friend a lot of memories camping fishing drinking working at Boyd's foodland and muffer ball on Monday night he will be missed bug hugs to the family
