Obituary of Corey Douglas Wright

It is with heavy hearts the family of Corey Douglas Wright announces his sudden passing on September 28, 2023 at the age of 48. Loving father of Presley Wright and Garrett Wright. Beloved stepfather of Mackenzie Stewart. Proud Pops of Aiyana and James.  Cherished son of Shiela Wright. Predeceased by his father Edward “Ted” Wright. Brother of Chad Wright and Chandra (Brent) Sisson. He will be missed by Jennifer Stewart, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

Corey had a wonderful career at Delta Power, working as a mechanic for 20 years. He had a love for tinkering on his tractors and spending time in the fields. Corey always loved cracking open a cold one and spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his Delta family and farming community and friends.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will take place at Warwick Cemetery on October 6, 2023 at 1:00pm. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
