Our deepest condolences to Mary and all the family. Just finished watching the memorial video and it brought tears and laughter as we watched the great life Ted had. We had the pleasure of knowing him mostly while we spent the winters in Florida. He just loved to play cards and golf and was darn good at them both.

As the oldest nephew on the Vanos side, I have many fond memories of all my aunts and uncles - of Uncle Ted perhaps the most. I have to give thanks to him for the example that he set for me - whether he meant to do it or not. I grew up with him in my early years and in some of my teen years and experienced his enthusiasm for life in my early adult life as well as the last few years. I will miss him. I have many fond memories of Ted. I have known Ted and Mary since I was a teenager when I worked there for several months when Don and Ron were born. I also played many games of golf and cards with him in SanLan. He loved many competitive games and was always actively doing something.

So sorry for your loss I met Ted about 12 years ago as he helped my mother after my dad passed away picked me up at the airport in Orlando he asked me drive on the way back. After returning to Sanlan Ranch in Lakeland he told me it should have taken at least 10 minutes longer.iIt was a pleasure to have known him
