I remember when Carl was born, so knew him all of his 69 years. I remember fondly the farm and the visits there with my Mom and my siblings. I remember many, many years later, Carl and Melba's many visits to our farm.
Sometimes my Grandfather accompanied them. Even given my own vegetable gardens they always brought sonething to us, some vegetables or a duck for the freezer. Always kind and sharing!
Life's busy schedule and duty sadly kept me from visiting with you and Carl often enough, Melba.
As mentioned here by my brother, cancer was the cause of far too much suffering for Carl for far too long. He fought bravely. I am thankful for my last visit with him.
Rest in sweetest peace Carl, your pain is gone.
My heartfelt sympathy Melba, Mark, Peggy, Doris, Sharon , Nancy and families.
God Bless.~ Mary Anne

I met Carl some time in the late sixties. My parents bought the farm next door to the Tedballs and we used that as our summer house. I would have been 10 or 12 years old which would have made Carl around 13 years old. We became good friends and before long, my parents would leave me with the Tedballs for weeks on end through the summer holidays.
We learned to drive together, chase girls and get into all sorts of trouble. Carl taught me how to hunt and trap as well as farming and other life lessons that a guy from the city would otherwise never have had a chance to experience.
Those times helped to shape me into the man I am now. I am and will remain forever grateful for the friendship that we shared over the years.
God bless you Carl.

Rest In Peace, Carl. Many childhood memories of Carl, Doris, and Sharon on the farm growing up together. My Mother would so enjoy the visits to the farm and Carl like his father would insist on loading us up with produce from the farm. We would always enjoy his stories and will cherish these memories. My Mother would also enjoy the times Carl and the family would come to visit her at the Nursing Home. Carl and Melba never forgot Mother's Birthday with a visit and later on Mother would enjoy them bringing their grandchildren. Condolences to Melba and all the family. Our thoughts are with you.

We have been lucky enough to call Carl and his family our friends and neighbours for over 50 years. He was always there to lend a hand or provide some good advice when we needed. We always appreciated his sense of humour his wide range of knowledge, and his ability to care for people. Our deepest sympathies go out to Melba, and the whole Tedball family, and extended family. We will miss Carl. Alma, Mark, and the whole Twin Pines family.

Sending our deepest condolences to Melba, Peggy, Mark and the whole family. Carl will also be greatly missed by our family as he was always ready to share a big smile and lots of stories. He always offered a kind word and took the time to ask how everyone was doing. He was definitely a wonderful neighbour to Carol’s family (next door at Twin Pines) and his friendship and generous nature will never be forgotten. We are thinking of you all as you honour Carl’s life.

I likely first met Carl over 65 years ago. We played together whenever my mom took us for a visit to the "farm" Through the years Carl shared some stories and we had some laughs, (not often enough), but treasured memories none the less. My condolences to Melba, Mark, Peggy and families as well as Carl's' sisters Doris, Sharon and Nancy. He fought a long battle with the merciless cancer and rests now without the pain .
Remembering the good times......Steve
