We had great pleasure by sitting with George in the chapel every Sunday when he was at the Manor.
He was a real gentleman.
We enjoyed spending time with him when we were at the manor visiting.
RIP George. Say hello to Doreen for us.

We first met George while wintering in Florida. We were both pilots and instantly became friends. We spent many Sundays flying to different destinations for breakfast and a lot of evenings playing cards. We continued to stay in touch every Tuesday sharing jokes and reminiscing about old times. We will miss you old friend. Until we meet again, Gloria and Dick Rogers

Our condolences to all who knew and loved George. George & Lou were our best friends and godparents to our three children. George introduced Martin to the joy of flying and was so proud when Martin became a pilot. So many joyous memories to hold in our hearts. Christmas together, countless dinners and fly-in breakfasts.Till we meet again save a spot on the dance floor for us George when we four can dance together again. Martin & Iris Brown

Our condolences to George's family. I first met George when I worked at the bank with Lou and my husband knew him for many years as a fellow flyer. George was quite a character and always interesting.

Sending our condolences to the family and friends of George. George and his flying buddies, Jack and Peter, along with Fred Mac solved many problems over early morning coffee at MacPherson's and will no doubt, be resuming their heavenly round table discussions with laughter and stories. RIP George.

George was my godfather and I loved him and Auntie Lou (his second wife Louisa) dearly. He will be missed. He was a kind, caring and funny man. Uncle George was an avid pilot. He was also a talented home builder. Together with my Dad, they built our first home in Port Franks. Uncle George told us great stories about growing up as a boy in Montreal. He will be met in heaven by his loving wife Louisa (2nd wife, Auntie Lou, my Godmother) and Yippy their Lhasa Apso.
Love you always,
Xoxox

When I was 5 years old, my Uncle George was a hero. He flew airplanes and with a twinkle in his eye would sneak me candy when my parents were not looking. Or so I thought. He and my Auntie Lou were ever present when I was a small child. One year we spent Christmas together and they gifted me my first ever Cabbage Patch doll. Now, this was the 80's, and if you remember the news from then, that act alone was a level of love and doting a small girl never forgets. My Uncle George always made me feel special, even when our lives took different directions and we lost our beloved Auntie Lou when I was a teen. I will always treasure how he loved me, and be grateful for him as my Godfather.
