Linda and family,
We are very sorry for your loss and send our sincere condolences. Frank was a great person, we will always remember him with a smile on his face. We also remember his love of the Red Wings when he was a young boy, glad to see he remained loyal to the red and white!
We are happy to make this donation to VON, they were also a great help to us when our mother was ill with cancer in 1999. A wonderful organization.
Big hugs,
Ruth, Ron and Linda Vanderburgt and family

Sending our deepest sympathy to the Linda and the Vandeshoot family, Growing up playing hockey with Frank was a pleasure, he was always having fun playing goalie and later playing oldtimer hockey he loved playing defense with the team, Frank was very laid back and alot of fun to be with at many tournaments we played together in.RIP Frank.

Deepest sympathies to all of Frank’s family. We have so many great memories of Frank from the 12th line neighbourhood to raising kids together. Frank was always just the best guy. So easy to be around. Always hard working and loved his family. Will miss catching up with Frank where ever we ran into him. Frank will be missed and remembered as a great guy and good friend. So sorry to all his family for your loss.

Sending our heartfelt condolences to Linda and the entire Vandeschoot family. When we were young the Van Lieshout and Vandeschoot’s kids spent many hours together playing tag, kick the can, having apple and corn cob fights, playing cards or hockey out on the ponds. Frank was in the middle of all the games, often the calm one who could settle most conflicts between the brothers and sisters. I always thought Frank was a spitting image of his dad, John, not only in the way he looked, his mannerisms but also in his personality and being a genuinely “nice” guy! A natural athlete and goaltender who never took himself too seriously. The world could use a lot more like Frank that’s for sure. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Frank!
