I will miss my beautiful and trusted friend but have so many memories of our shopping trips, long talks about life, sharing coffee, lunches, dinners and wine. I will treasure and cherish every memory of my wonderful and special friend.
My sincere condolences to her loving family.

Mrs.Gardiner was a neighbour when we were children . We spent alot of time at her house and enjoyed playing with her five daughters. I remember her beautiful smile. I also remember the pies she cooled on the windowsill in her kitchen. My sisters and I are sorry for your loss. Your Mom made everyone feel welcome-even those sometimes pesky kids(me and my sisters). I was shocked and saddened to hear of Velda's passing. Velda was an important person in my life and I certainly appreciated all the time that my family spent with her. Velda was a wonderful grandmother to my two children and they treasured the time they spent with her in Puce. To all of Velda's family, to her relatives and friends, please accept my heartfelt and sincere condolences on your loss. Rest assured that I share your sorrow. I pray that Velda has found everlasting peace.

Great Auntie Velda was one special lady! She always made everyone feel so welcome and wanted to feed you every time you visited her home. She was like a "welcome mat" that wrapped you in a big hug!
She had an incredible sense of humour, and had so many stories to tell. She had a wonderful laugh that I can still hear in my mind.
I am so thankful for all the moments I got to spend with her. I will miss her dearly, but I am so grateful that she is no longer suffering and she is at peace now. She was such a vibrant, beautiful light that shone so brightly!
I will love her forever. Until we meet again!

Aunt Velda has been in my life since the day I was born.We never spent a moment together without laughing. She had a very good sense of humour.
She was the youngest of her other two sisters. She lost her Mother when she was five weeks old.
She told me about working at the market in Sarnia for many hours when she was young.I think it taught her about working hard.
Whenever we talked she always told me about the girls, five of them. Then she would proudly talk about her grandchildren and how smart they were and good in school or sports.
She welcomed everyone into her home and Christmas was at her house. She must have cooked for days as she filled a very long dining table with good food. She made the best Sour Cream Pie I've ever had!
She was very proud of all her girls. To me she was an inspiration as a Mom.
I will always miss you but I know you are at peace now.
Love you till we meet again.
Love Dianne,Bill and Sandy.
