Obituary of Muriel George
Elsie Muriel (Smith) George
October 1, 1925 – August 20, 2014
Passed away at Wiidsemshin Assisted Living in Kettle Point on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, in her 89th year. Daughter of the late William and Phoebe Smith.
Predeceased by her husband Abraham George, her children Carl, Mary and Roderick, her sons in law Jerry Lewis, and Dale Plain Sr, and her grand daughter Jody and great-grand daughter Phoebe Marie.
Survived by her children Verle, Sandra, Frank, Joy, Stewart, Tina, Elwood and Robby, her special niece Roberta, her sons in law Axel and Norman, her daughters in law Josephine, Donna, and Delina. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Wiidsemshin Assisted Living in Kettle Point who took excellent care of her.
All services will take place at the residence of Joy Lewis, 9356 Army Camp Road, Stoney Point. On Thursday evening, August 21, 2014, at 7:00 pm, there will be a Traditional Ceremony. Wake to follow throughout the day on Friday, August 22, 2014, starting at 1:00 pm. A Wake Ceremony will be conducted at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service to take place on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Stoney Point Cemetery.
