Obituary of Anne Buchanan

Buchanan, Elizabeth Anne (McCrae) – passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia at age 71. Anne is survived by her best friend and husband Norman, and they enjoyed 50 years of marriage on their farm outside Forest and their retired life outside of Grand Bend. Cherished mother of: Sandy Wilmering of Waterloo, Janice (Randy) Williams of Grand Bend, Julie Buchanan of Kincardine, David (Nadine) Buchanan of Bosanquet, and Susan Buchanan of Kincardine. She will be missed by five beloved grandchildren: Noelle, Erin, and Noah Wilmering, and Ceceilia and Genevieve Buchanan. Also survived by her brother-in-law Donald (Grace) Buchanan, her sisters-in-law Dorothy (Nick) Dahm and Ilene (Roy Vardy) Buchanan, and nephew and nieces. Anne was the daughter of the late Sandy and Marion (McCord) McCrae of Point Edward and was a passionate quilter . A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Presbyterian Church with visitation at 9:30 a.m. preceding the service.
