Very sorry to hear of Jean's passing, I have great memories of teaching with Jean at Midwestern Regional Centre. Also at Trinity United Church Listowel assisting her with CGIT. Our daughter Shelly was one of her CGIT
pupils. Had a call from Brenda wanting to know if this was the Jean Bell
["her best teacher"] at Midwestern. She said she wanted to cry. We regret
that we cannot attend the funeral but our thoughts and sympathy are with all of you.
A donation will be given at Trinity United Church Listowel to the
Canadian Food Grains Bank in Jean's memory.

We are saddened to hear of Aunt Jean's passing. Each of us have very fond memories of our summer visits and hearing Aunt Jean's warm & funny stories. She had such a joie de vivre- there is nobody like her. All of us have a treasured place for her in our hearts. We love all of you and send our love and prayers for peace & comfort.

Jean attended every single West Elgin Community Band and Treble Makers Women's Choir concert we put on over the past 17 years. She sat front row centre with Heather and sometimes with Meg, when she was in town. Jean loved music, appreciated live concerts and always thought we were wonderful! We'll miss her at our next concert... and I'll miss her cheeriness and interest in what was happening in the community.

Dear Heather, Meg and Elizabeth. I was sorry to learn of Jean's passing. She was great fun and she and my Mom (Frances McCallum) covered lots of miles together going to retired teachers events and to TaiChi. It seems only a short time ago that we saw her helping with the tea room at Bobier Villa - she was living there, but always the welcoming host. She will be missed. Dorothy
