Obituary of Willy Victor Geens

GEENS, Mr. Willy Victor Sadly after a courageous battle with cancer, Willy passed away with his wife and family by his side at the London Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at the age of 58 years. Beloved husband of Bonnie Densmore Geens (nee York). Son of Julia De Boel (late Frans Geens). Loving stepfather of Cassie (Ken) Parks, and Kristin (David) Jones. Loving Opa of Madi, Molly, Max, Maggie, and Payton. Survived by his sisters Martine Geens (Jan Mees), Gerda Geens (Marc Sterckx), and his brother Jan Geens (Hilde Willems). Brother in law of Cheryl Petrie, and Rick York (Angela), Darrell Densmore (Nancy), and Bob Vowel (Janet). Uncle of Dieter Mees (Karlien), Arnout Mees, Niels Sterckx (Evelien), Tomas Geens, Simon Geens, Andi Harper (Eddy), Scott York (Karen), Michael York (Sandra), Eric Densmore (Jen), Adam Densmore (Laura), Sara Zierhofer, and Jessie Krogman (Michael). Also missed by several great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. Willy will also be missed by his many friends from Europe and North America. A Celebration of Life will take place at Port Franks Optimist Hall at 9997 Port Franks Road, Port Franks, Ontario, on Saturday, August 27, 2016, from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm.
