Obituary of Robert Turner

Surrounded by his family at his residence, Robert (Smiley) won his battle with cancer on January 24, 2017, in his 90th year. Beloved husband and soul mate of Joyce (Frayne) after almost 70 years of marriage. Proud father of Ruth Chaffe (George), Sue Jefferson (Dave), and the late Wayne Turner. Father in law of Pat Turner. Loved and deeply respected by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. His green thumb, love for music, and children will be remembered by many. He is free in the arms of Jesus. A special thanks to all of his caregivers and Dennings, and for the prayers that carried us. A private Memorial Service will be held at the Forest Bible Chapel. Interment to follow at a later date. For those who wish, in memoriam donations to the Forest Bible Chapel or to St. Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia would be appreciated by the family.
