Obituary of Charles Rogers
Peacefully at Bluewater Health in Sarnia, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 7th, 2013. C.E. "Jr." Rogers of Forest at the age of 79.
Jr. is survived by his best friend and loving spouse Gail Cassidy and is predeceased by his beloved wife of 53 years, Mary Beth (Luck) (2009). Jr. will be sadly missed by his loving children Debbie and Bob Rumford, Connie McGregor and Don Jones and Pam and Frank Hurkmans. Beloved grandfather to Shawn (Meghan), Brennan (Rachel), Brittney (Jon), Jordan (Ashley), Candace, Kayla (Kyle) and Justin (Emily). Jr. is also survived by his two great granddaughters Lily Rumford and Layney McLeod and is survived by his loving Aunt Edith Turner. Fondly remembered by sister Lill and Robert Luck and brother Lonnie and Diane Rogers and sister Midge and Bill Harrower and predeceased by brother Jack Rogers. Also predeceased by parents Charles and Helen Rogers. Also sadly missed by the Cassidy and Hedden families. Jr. was a proud member of the Forest Legion, Br. # 176 and the Forest Lakeside Flyers. Visitation will be held at the FOREST CHAPEL OF DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS on Monday, December 9th, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, December 10th, 2013 at 11am with Rev. David Dyke officiating. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
