I had the opportunity to meet Becky only a few times during the family Christmas celebration. It was always a pleasure to talk to her. I will always remember Becky by her cheerful spirit and joy of life. I would like to share here in memory of Nola Rebecca "Becky" Fraser a prayer I wrote awhile ago.
An Easter prayer
I thank you Lord for not all my prayers are answered as I would want them;
Removed of my pride I feel your greatness.
It is through my struggles that I better understand human suffering, myself and You Lord.
It is only when I carry my own cross that I have a better understanding of the Passion of Christ.
Through my faith in You:
When I am lonely, I feel You near;
When I am afraid, You take my fear;
When I am sad, You bring me joy;
When my life is empty, You give me purpose;
When I am weak, You give me strength;
When I have no answers, I find them in Your Scriptures;
When I feel restless, You bring me peace;
When I am lost, You show me the way.
Your are my friend and all that i need! Because I have You, right here, by my side,
Through sickness and sorrows, You are my comfort;
When I am in despair I know that You care!
And so, in my sufferings, I am redeemed.
I thank You Lord for all that I have.
Blessed be death when it finally comes!
As Jesus led the way, I must die so I can live...
And life is resurrection!

Becky and I met in the ICU in NYC.She was an amazing colleague who became a dear friend. Becky was a fierce advocate for her patients and colleagues and so proud of her profession. Treasured memories of a spectacular Canadian welcome and fun times in Hillsboro.. murmu's a must.

So sorry to hear of Becky's death. She was a classmate of mine at the St. Thomas School of Nursing. We had many good times in our 3 years of training and always enjoyed some weekends at the cottage with Midge. She enjoyed a great career in nursing and in those many years has no doubt helped countless people. I am very saddened at this news. Sent with love to all those others who loved her.
