Obituary of Alfred Russell

Russell, Alfred Thomas September 28, 1948 - January 1, 2014 The family sadly announces Alf's sudden passing at Ipperwash on January 1, 2014 due to complications from pancreatic cancer. Alf is survived by his loving wife Joan (McMartin), son Andy of Rossland, BC and daughter and son-in-law Vickie and Rob Taplin of Cambridge, ON. His shining star at Christmas was his darling granddaughter Lily Taplin, 3 weeks of age. Alf is also survived by his brothers Don and Leila of London and John and Marion of Red Deer, AL, as well as in-laws Linda and Michael Murdie and Anne Walsh. Alf dearly loved his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Alf's life will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm at the Best Western Stoneridge Inn at 6675 Burtwistle Lane, London, ON. Casual remarks at 3PM.
