Obituary of Lu Connolly

CONNOLLY, Jean Lucille (Lu)

Passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario, at the age of 97 years.  Loved and loving mother of Janice of Forest, and the late Pat (1977).  Beloved wife of the late Wray (1991).  Predeceased by her brothers Max Shain, Cameron Shain, and her sisters Kathleen Finch and Madolyn Brown.  Nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews supported her and Janice with love and caring.  She attended Gladstone Public School, Belmont Continuation School, Sir Adam Beck Collegiate, and HB Beal Tech in London, graduating in business.  She and her husband Wray, Pat & Janice left London and came to Forest and managed Open Kitchen Restaurant, and later establishing Connolly’s Tots to Teens with the Sears agency.  She volunteered for 20 years at the North Lambton Lodge and was active in the ACW of Christ Church Anglican and in the New Horizons Seniors Club.

         Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF FOREST, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Thursday, July 19, 2018, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.  Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 11:00am.   Reception to follow at the Funeral Home.  Interment Beechwood Cemetery.  For those who wish, in memoriam donations to Osteoporosis Canada or to the North Lambton Lodge Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.forestfuneralhome.com
