Obituary of Timothy MacDonald Croucher

Croucher, Timothy MacDonald (Tim) – February 21st 1951 to November 10th 2018.

Died serenely on November 10th at St. Joseph’s Hospice. Tim was a well-known retired Sarnia businessman born in London, Ontario. Raised and educated in the Sarnia and Camlachie area. He relocated back to Sarnia on the river; he loved watching the ships and boat traffic. He always called Sarnia his home, spending twenty years as a member of Sarnia Bay Marina. He enjoyed years of laughter and friendship with many of his fellow boaters. Tim leaves his cherished children of which he was so proud, Kendra Bowen (Paul), Khyle Croucher (Kari) and Michelle Alain (Jamie). After his children his next greatest pride were his grandchildren; Austyn, Maxwell, Ella, Bentley and Callie. In his last years his grandchildren brought him joy, laughter and lots of love (especially hugs & kisses). Tim spent many years in the specialty industrial service business sector in Sarnia and across Canada – making friends and colleagues Nationwide.

Tim lived and worked with COPD for 16 years and the last four years had his ups and downs with cancer. He took early retirement due to health reasons from Innovator Industrial Services where he was VP of operations based out of Edmonton. He loved his work and missed the people he worked with until the day he died. Tim is survived not only by his children and grandchildren, but also his nieces, nephews, and cousins in Canada as well as in the United States, with special mention of his best friend and fishing/boating buddy Wilf May of London, Ontario. As well as special appreciation and thanks to close friends Gate and Tammy Doire of Sarnia.

He is predeceased by his parents Norm and Norma (1973) and Brother Mike (1978). The family would like to thank V.O.N. LHSC staff, LHIN, Dr. Kim, Anne Douglas and the wonderful nurses, staff and volunteers at St. Joseph’s Hospice during his stay there. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life open house will be held at 1699 Blackwell Road, Sarnia Ontario from 3-7 PM on Thursday November 15th 2018.  For those who wish, in memoriam donations can be made to St. Joseph’s Hospice.  Online condolences may be left at www.forestfuneralhome.com   Funeral arrangements entrusted to DENNING’S OF FOREST
