Dear Audrey and Timmerman family, our heartfelt condolences on the passing of our dear and cherished fellow parishioner. Peter will always be remembered as a friendly, cheerful and warm person who will be missed especially for his passion for singing at the 5.00 p.m. mass. Audrey a special hug to you. We admire you for your compassion and care during Peter's later years as you supported him and stood by his side to comfort and lead. I am so sorry to learn of Peter's passing. We knew Peter quite well through Insurance, Soccer, St Andrews church and the choir. Most of the family met Peter through those activities and he was always cheerful. Our sincere sympathy to all your family from the McNorgan family.

The Klaverjassen Card Club of Wednesday night sends our condolences to Audrey and family. Peter has been sadly missed at the Club with his gentle smile and great sense of humour. It was a pleasure to have known him and remember the hospitality that Audrey and him provided at our last get together at his home. Saw him every morning for his newspaper. If he bought eggs I knew he and his wife were making sandwiches to serve after a funeral. What a kind man and a big beautiful smile. I miss seeing him in the mornings. My condolences to his friends and family.

Pete was always kind and generous. I enjoyed living with Audrey and Pete for a few years when I went to school and worked in London. He was there for us when Rudy and I needed a helping hand. We enjoyed many years at their cottage making family memories. He was the life of any party.....telling his jokes that got longer and longer each time they were repeated.....singing the umbrella song with Audrey.....and singing his song "I am Mina Johnson and I am all alone" ....the last time he sang that was at Harry's 80th birthday party this past June. Thanks Pete for being a wonderful brother in law. I'm so touched that we were there in time to say goodbye. We will miss you. Rudy & Marianne Terpstra
