I am so sad that I missed the funeral today (due to illness). I really wanted to show my respect for Mandy and her family. And I just can't believe Mandy is gone. I wanted to say goodbye.
I've known Mandy since high school, and was her neighbor for years. She was always so kind, and cheerful. Her smile lit up a room.
I know she had struggles, and when she told me about some of what she was up against with her health and stuff, I was so impressed by how strong she was, and how she kept such a positive attitude even during hard times.
I remember her collecting food and toys for the "Rez dogs". And always having lots of rescues around. She cared about animals so much.
I keep thinking of Bailey, Richelle, Theo and Knight.... you might not realize it, but there are a lot of people in this town that care about you. I see your mom's kindness and strength in you both, girls. Keep going. Ask for help if you need it. We are here for you. <3
