Obituary of Zella Woods

WOODS ZELLA IRENE (MUXLOW) Zella was born on February 13, 1921, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2012. With great courage and determination, she battled with Dementia and Alzheimer's for the past 10 years, before joining her heavenly family. Zella was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Sylvia Muxlow, her husband Howard Gerald Woods; sisters Phylis Ward and Joyce Sharp and an infant twin sister. Also predeceased by two brothers-in-law, Andy Ward and Bruce Sharp. She is survived by her two sons, William Arthur (Mary) Woods and Roger Howard (Olga) Woods. She is also survived by five grand children and numerous great grandchildren. Her family would like to express their thanks to the wonderful nurses and staff at Fiddick's Retirement and Nursing Home, Petrolia for the excellent care provided during her time there. Also thank you to Dr. Reidel for his attentive care during her illness. A celebration of Zella's life will be held at a private funeral service at the Warwick Cemetery.
