Obituary of James Jamieson

Peacefully, at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Wednesday, January 20th, 2010. James (Jim) Archibald Jamieson of Rodney in his 83rd year. Jim farmed in the Kintyre area for many years and was a member of the Rodney Oddfellows. Lovingly remembered by his wife Marilyn (Sells). Dear father of Donna (Putt) Waite of Highgate, Stuart (Patty) of West Lorne, Nancy (Pat) Sawyer of Rodney, Paul (1976) and Janet (2007) and grandfather of Jeff and Katie Jacques, Amanda and Michelle Jamieson and Steve, Calvin and Nic Sawyer. Survived by his sister Mary (Doug) Cross of Bothwell, sister in law Marjorie Thompson and brother in law Charlie Smith. Predeceased by his brother Duncan (1960) and sisters Betty Krehbiel (1981) and Margaret Smith (2009). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friend may call at the Rodney Chapel on Friday, January 22nd, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 1 pm. Pastor S. Patterson officiating.
