Obituary of John Buchanan

BUCHANAN, Mr. John Rundle Age 84, formerly of Bright's Grove, passed away at Marshall Gowland Manor in Sarnia on Monday, March 14, 2011. Jack was born on September 8, 1926, in Bosanquet Township, son of George and Edna (Lang) Buchanan. He retired from Polysar after more than 25 years of service and was a member of the Camlachie Masonic Lodge and the Forest Legion. Jack is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donelda "Nupsy" (Shearer) Burley, her children Patricia (Kirby) Lucas of New Brunswick, Terry (Sue) Burley of Owen Sound, and Mary Ann Lougheed (Don Pearce) of Sarnia, and their families. He is also survived by his brother Alan of Forest, several nieces and nephews, and predeceased by siblings Keith, Eugene, Bruce, Jessie, and Douglas. Friends may call at the FOREST CHAPEL of DENNING FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 9 James Street South, Forest, on Wednesday, March 16, 2011, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Joanne Macodrum officiating.
