My deepest condolences on Carolyn's passing. I am deeply saddened by this. Carolyn and the boys were such fun at our "playgroup" and she was certainly a wonderful playgroup mom/friend. I watched the beautiful slide show, and noticed that Carolyn was ALWAYS smiling that beautiful smile, which she always had, and that Jim always had her in his arms. What a wonderful and loving life you built together! May you always cherish those memories that you have. I loved getting her annual Christmas card and letter, with a family picture included. I still have her hand written carrot cake recipe, which is the Best ever carrot cake!! Carolyn was a good friend and neighbour for forty years. After my retirement we walk daily along the the beach and around the hills and roads of Bonnie Doone.I remember the time when I was checking a golf score on my phone and stumbled over a rock, She laughed and laughed.
