Dear Bob. While I did not have the pleasure of meeting your extended family, I will always have 2 very clear memories of my time as a friend of David back in Kapuskasing. 1) you were a MASTER at making an awesome chili. 2) Our road trip to the USA (can't remember all the places we visited but I feel like we did see a baseball museum). David and I playing drums on the car dash to music by The Beach Boys. That poor car was never the same. As Neil Peart once said "When I heard that you were gone, I felt a shadow cross my heart". My sincere condolences to the family, far and wide.

We grew up with Dave. Our memories of Bob were of a man who was the president of Kap minor hockey association. He was an ambassador for Kap, taking our midget hockey team around southern Ontario with Wendal Streeter as the coach. They worked hard and were proud of the boys.
Our condolences to the whole family

Love and prayers to all of you! I fondly remember Uncle Robert’s visits to Orillia and our visit to Kap- it seemed soooooo far away. I remember Uncle Robert helping his brother (my father) put up the flag pole at our Dalton Cres . property. It was a huge pole and somehow they managed it. So glad you are free of your suffering Uncle Robert but know that you will e deeply missed and will always be deeply loved.

Many a good times I shared with my cousin Robert. One of the most memorable was when he and Fran lived in Kapuskasing and I stopped in for a few days on my way home. Well, he had a small animal hobby farm he was raising for food…until I got there and gave everyone of his animals a name. He was not a happy camper!
I love you Robert and I will truly miss you. Say hello to all the family up there! Love & Hugs!
