Obituary of Hugh Barclay Wallace

WALLACE, Hugh Barclay

Passed away peacefully at his residence with his loving family by his side on Thursday, December 30, 2021.  He was born in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, and immigrated to Canada in 1950.  Hugh is survived by his loving wife Madeleine, and his children Elaine (Salt Lake City), John (Lambton Shores), and David (Pam) of Lucan.   Cherished grandfather of Amanda.  After his retirement from the railroad, he continued farming while taking winter trips south to Arizona, making many new friends along the way.   He is also survived by his sister Peggy in Ireland, and his brother Jack (Ruth) in Scotland, many nieces and nephews in the United Kingdom, and extended family in the U.S. and Australia.  Predeceased by his older brother William (Bill) in Australia.
