My deepest condolences to Betty’s family. I had the pleasure of supporting her when I took care of Ted as a homemaker. She was a hard worker and kind woman. Always had a hello whenever we would meet. May she rest in sweetest peace.

My mom was a strong woman. We went on so many adventures together, fought so many battles. She never gave up. I would get that call and she would say we got to do something. Fought for Stoney Point, residential school survivors, I always looked forward to her calls, a very spirited woman. I honor my mother and now may she rest in peace. Remembering everything we did together, think of that movie Thelma and Louise. She was a leader and I see my siblings achievements, especially my sister Dianne..she taught us right.
