Sincerest condolences to the Maxfield family on the loss of Ardis.
She truly was a saint and I remember all the good times we had at the home of Ardis and Fred, with Ardis being the household director. I also remember hunting geese with her and salmon fishing. She was always willing to clean the fish, pluck the geese and make us something great to eat. You will be missed Ardis. R.I.P.

She held a special place in our hearts. She was like a second Mom to me growing up and continued on into my adult life.
I was very fortunate to have had recent opportunities to visit with her, reminiscing of old times and talking about her children, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

So sorry. Growing up around the corner Ardis was like a second mom. Years later I got to visit often when we lived next to Bill and Cindy for 25 years. I got to talk to Ardis on her 90th birthday and share my memories of her helping me grow up and thank her for the famous macaroni

So sorry to hear of Ardis passing my condolences to the whole family! Ardis and Fred were like Family to me as I'm sure they were to many young men in Forest. We had the privilege of having Ardis and Fred play a big part for our trip to Switzerland one that not any of us will forget. She was a big part of Forest hockey mothers who fed many players that took part in the Silver stick and many other events that took place in Buck Kimballs ice palace. I have left the forest area many years ago and every time I came home I would always go and see Ardis and Fred they were always glad to see me and the door was always open. I'm proud to say that Ardis and Fred made a difference in my life and I will never forget either one of you. Rest in Peace Ardis hope you and Fred connect again!!
